Location: Clapham Veterinary Clinic As the Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in our clinic's operations. You'll lead a dynamic team of veterinary nurses, ensuring seamless operations and the highest standards of care for our patients and their owners. Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate our veterinary nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians during medical procedures and surgeries, providing crucial support and assistance.
- Extend compassionate care and support to pets and their owners, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Skillfully administer medications and treatments, always under the guidance of our veterinary team.
- Facilitate diagnostic procedures while maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
- Uphold our clinic's standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every client interaction exceeds expectations.
- Essential qualification as a registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine passion for animal care.
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team, as well as autonomously.
- Dedication to continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary care.
- Competitive starting salary: £39,000 to £40,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
- £500 allocated for continued professional development (CPD) opportunities.
