Reviewing customer documentation to ensure all data sets required are present before commencing customs clearance. Submitting customs declarations to HMRC using the appropriate software
• Liaising with customers (internal or external where necessary) to obtain clearance instructions and information required to complete the customs declaration prior to shipping
• Submitting transit declarations to HMRC using the appropriate software (export only)
• Excellent communication skills – with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Excellent problem solving and analysis skills
• Mathematical and computer literacy
• A high customer service orientation with a passion for delivering quality
