Senior Mechanic / Plant Fitter Ashford
£My client, a market-leading organisation, is looking for a Senior Mechanic / Plant Fitter to join their team They are open to considering candidates with different levels of experience , from general mechanics with an understanding of agricultural vehicles , to plant fitters who have worked on agricultural vehicles and are looking for a step up in their career .
As a Senior Mechanic / Plant Fitter, you will be:
Working on company fleet and agricultural equipment.
Managing a workshop plant fitter to ensure duties are being carried out correctly.
Keep a record maintenance schedule on all equipment.
Arranging vehicle MOTs.
Travelling to various sites to carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
Performing office/computer-based duties as well as manual handling tasks.
To be successful in the application for this Senior Mechanic / Plant Fitter role,you will have/be:
Alternatively, you will have experience working as a mechanic / plant fitter working on vehicles and plant in the agricultural sector.
Able to interpret task/data sheets.
Computer literate and competent using Microsoft Office.
