The Senior Buyer role at Skin Cupid is a critical position responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of innovative Asian skincare and beauty products across multiple categories. Strategic Buying Management : Develop and implement buying strategies that support Skin Cupid's business objectives and growth plans. Manage category performance through detailed range reviews and trade planning.
Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of products.
Ensure close collaboration with marketing, and operations teams to achieve maximum commercial efficiency.
Financial and Performance Management : Support the setting of annual and monthly sales and margin targets. Prepare, manage, and deliver brand budgets. Inventory and Stock Management: Place purchase orders and forecasts whilst balancing key performance indicators, including stock availability, cover levels, and aged stock, ensuring strategic intake and optimisation of delivery investments.
Promotional and Pricing Strategies : Develop and implement pricing and promotional strategies at the category and brand level.
At least 5+ years of experience in cosmetics buying. Expertise and in-depth knowledge of Korean beauty products are strongly preferable.
Proven track record in strategic buying and supplier relationship management.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in numerical analysis, leveraging market insights and data to drive buying decisions.
Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fluency in Korean is a bonus.
