Our team of engineers work on UK, European & International engineering projects. Our core business model is Installation, Decommissioning, Movement and Maintenance of mechanical services and specialist machinery predominantly in the Glass Industry. Our client works closely with most the UK’s major glass manufacturing plants and in more recent years has expanded operations into Europe and further afield internationally, operating out of Asia, North America and South America. Job Description We are looking to recruit experienced, or time served Mechanical Fitters to work on a wide range of engineering projects. You will find yourself working in very industrial environments working long hours, in uncomfortable conditions and in high temperatures but you will be well remunerated for your work. You will be working as part of a team taking on Installation, Decommissioning and movement of machinery within fully functioning plants. As part of the process, you will also be installing be installing steelwork as per the drawings. Our work sees us not only working in the UK, but we also carry out projects across Europe too to some travel will be required. Role Requirements

  • Conveyor Installations
  • Steelwork / Piping / Ducting Installations
  • You ideally be able to interpret technical drawings.
  • Install various sized ductwork for extraction and ventilation.
  • Be able to strip and assemble mechanical components
  • Machinery movement and re-location
  • Inspecting the workplace, clearing obstructions, and preparing materials and equipment
  • Welding experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Working Hours & Overtime * Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm (Core Hours) This role will see you working over our core hours due to the nature of the work, however you will receive overtime at time and a half after you have hit your 8 hours in the day.
