Finance Manager

Salary: £65,000 to £75,000

Location: Redditch

Rota: Monday – Friday - DAYS

My client, a leading plant company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team.

The main responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include;

- Lead and develop the Accounting Team to effectively deliver internal reporting, group reporting, and strong financial controls.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to recommend and implement changes that enhance the company’s financial performance and controls.

- Manage the performance of the Accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.

- Prepare monthly internal and Group reports, including commentary and variance analysis.

- Maintain and enhance the financial control framework, ensuring robust control over finances.

- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external auditors.

- Oversee Accounts Payable and Banking functions, including foreign exchange purchasing and exposure.

- Develop and improve the reporting of financial and operational performance, focusing on cost control.

- Prepare VAT returns and Intrastat reports.

- Coach and develop the Accounting team.
