Expleo is working closely with a globally renowned Automotive OEM in Central London to recruit a highly creative Automotive Colour Designer. In this role, you will deliver modern, innovative colour and material design solutions for new vehicle programmes. Key Responsibilities:- Creative Design – Projects Research and develop visual concept proposals in collaboration with the Global Colour Group, bringing a unique and innovative perspective. Initiate and develop design themes while maintaining the integrity of the design brief. Use the latest design tools to illustrate proposals effectively. Research, develop, and propose innovative materials or finishes with suppliers, ensuring feasibility and cost targets. Communicate design concepts clearly and maintain exceptional visual presentation standards. Project Management Mentor peers to enhance creativity and efficiency within the design team. Independently lead colour projects from initial exploration through to final release. Participate in project planning meetings to ensure clarity of direction. Create and manage timing plans, ensuring adherence to cost targets. Maintain regular communication with all business partners and stakeholders. Stay fully engaged with overall project requirements. Qualifications & Skills:- Highly creative and innovative, with a proactive mindset. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Motivational team player with leadership and project management experience. Ability to challenge and innovate in colour and materials. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Art & Design. Technical awareness of material manufacturing processes. Automotive industry experience and knowledge of current trends. Full UK driving licence preferred. Please Note: To comply with current legislation, right-to-work checks will be carried out. Additional Requirement: Candidates must be able to travel across Europe and the UK approximately once every two months, for around 3 days at a time. Interested?
