Job Title: HGV Class 2 Moffett Driver Location: Logistics/Transportation
Job Type: Temp - Perm
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Moffett Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations using a Class 2 vehicle equipped with a Moffett truck-mounted forklift. This role requires a professional driver who ensures timely and safe delivery of products while maintaining excellent customer service and adherence to safety regulations.
Operate Class 2 vehicle and Moffett truck-mounted forklift to deliver goods to specified locations.
Load and unload goods using the Moffett forklift, ensuring safe and efficient handling of products.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and forklift to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery notes, logs, and any necessary documentation.
Communicate with the transport manager and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Assist with warehouse duties when necessary, including inventory management and stock organization.
Report any vehicle or equipment defects, accidents, or incidents to the transport manager promptly.
Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
Moffett truck-mounted forklift license.
