We are working on behalf of an established and award winning organisation, who are seeking an experienced Partnerships Manager to work alongside the Business Development Manager and Head of Strategy. The focus of the role will be to drive growth by developing and expanding commercial partnerships with their network of partners. As Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for proactively building and managing a portfolio of potential partnerships, arranging meetings and using a consultative sales approach to understand their needs.

This role will involve a mixture of being home based, office based and a requirement to attend face to face client meetings which would require you to be out travelling in the West Midlands and further afield up to 2 days per week. They operate a flexible hybrid working environment. As Partnerships Manager you will be focused on driving growth of the organisation by developing and expanding commercial partnerships with their network of partners.

* Proactively building and managing a portfolio of potential partnerships, arranging meetings and using a consultative sales approach to understand their needs.

* Secure new partners for various parts of the organisation which could include sponsorship, projects and funding.

* Responsible for developing long term relationships to increase referrals for services.

* Work alongside the Business Development Manager to manage existing and prospects.

* Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to maximise conversion rates, generate pipeline and meet financial targets.

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through effective ownership of leads.

* Use a variety of tools such as networking, meeting and digital marketing to build a diverse pipeline with a variety of schools, colleges, career centres and employers.

* Provide regular and accurate updates on the organisation CRM to track progress.

Proven experience in similar Sales, Business Development, Account Manager or Partnerships Manager role essential
