Senior Flood Risk Consultant Position Remuneration Salary DOE Paid Membership fees Company pension 3% Employee 5% Employer Career progression Flexible benefits package Enhanced Family policies 25 days' holiday + BH Bonus scheme (based on company and personal performance)Senior Flood Risk Consultant Position Overview Lead and manage complex flood risk assessment projects from inception to completion. Provide technical direction and oversight to project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Conduct detailed FRA's, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, and drainage analysis. Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner. Ensure all flood risk assessments adhere to relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines. Stay informed about changes in legislation and advise clients on compliance requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and environmental scientists, to integrate flood risk considerations into broader projects. Contribute to the development of proposals Participate in business development activities to expand the client base and promote the company's flood risk management services.Senior Flood Risk Consultant Position Requirements A degree or similar in a hydrology, physical geography or a flood risk related discipline 5+ years' experience within Flood Risk Experience in supporting a wider team in assessing all sources of flooding, ready to embrace complex problems. Understanding hydrology estimation (e.g. FEH) Experience with modelling packages -Flood Modeller, TuFLOW, Microdrainage ect Experience in producing FRA's and SuDS Software knowledge including GIS, AutoCAD or Site3D.
