The Chief Income Officer will be responsible for informing the strategic direction by leading the income generation directorate in the realisation of our strategic ambitions to support the services The post holder will be responsible for new business development, development of current and new social enterprises, income diversification and the generation of income from commercial partnerships.

They will maximise existing income streams as well as generate new ideas and services that meet the overarching strategic aims and that supports financial sustainability.
Main Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Executive and the Board of Trustees, to provide leadership and direction in relation to organisational strategy and income generation To participate in the Trading Board and be accountable for all activities and financial performance To actively contribute to the vision and strategic direction and sustainability of NI Hospice To provide leadership in all aspects of corporate governance and risk management, ensuring all statutory requirements are met and risks are escalated appropriately To be accountable for their respective directorates performance and implementation of the strategic plan, performance metrics and review mechanisms To promote a supportive culture of high performance, results driven, and targets focused To develop and deliver an ambitious income growth plan which aligns with the strategic plan, providing clear direction for business development and income generation To provide leadership to all reporting staff and volunteers ensuring a culture of continuous improvement so that the highest standards are maintained To lead the development and implementation of a highly effective, integrated, and successful fundraising strategy to maximise and grow income from a variety of sources To oversee, monitor and deliver a retail strategy to maximise potential income and minimise costs to contribute to NI Hospice sustainability To lead, develop and implement an ambitious commercial and social enterprise strategy to elevate existing services to a commercial platform and identify new viable business and social enterprise opportunities to maximise income generation.
To oversee the development, delivery and review of an annual market strategy and plan for NI Hospice to augment market capability and organisational sustainability, identifying high propensity opportunities and increasing return on investment for income generating activity.
Candidate Profile A minimum 3rd Level Qualification (i.e.
degree or equivalent or above) in a relevant discipline e.g.
Business, Accounting, Finance or Enterprise Development etc A minimum 5 years relevant and recent experience in a senior management position in a comparable sized organisation A minimum 5 years relevant and recent experience in each of the following areas: Management and leadership experience at a senior management level in a complex business environment overseeing multiple functions and high performing teams with stretching targets Leading strategic and business planning and management with demonstrable evidence of using commercial acumen to include income forecasting, management, conversion, and reporting Working with high-net-worth individuals or high value (blue chip) businesses Demonstrable evidence of growing and managing income growth, meeting ambitious targets, and penetrating new markets or sectors Significant experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders and delivering a focused and tailored service Demonstrable experience in successfully networking, engaging with new customers, influencing, and negotiating to achieve the necessary results Utilising multimedia platforms and digital development to attain maximum reach and impact Excellent IT skills Competent in the use of CRM systems Reply Instructions If you feel you have the necessary skills and attributes for this position please send your CV via the relevant method or alternatively call the office on for a confidential discussion.
