Lead and manage the engineering team, providing direction, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain and finance teams to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental policies.
Manage engineering projects from conception through to completion, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
Monitor and control engineering spend, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team and across the multi-site operations.
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services and materials.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar field) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in an engineering management role within the food or drink manufacturing industry is desirable.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in manufacturing
