Tell me more about the Marketing Executive role...

The position of Marketing Executive is a varied and challenging role, reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing. The Marketing Executive will drive the day-to-day marketing activities across the business, including online and offline platforms. The function will develop integrated marketing campaigns and be responsible for the promotion and delivery of a varied calendar of internal and external events including webinars, seminars, speaking opportunities and exhibitions. The ability to manage a portfolio of leads and the flexibility to travel to meet customers face-to-face is expected.

The main duties & responsibilities of the Marketing Executive are:

Support company performance through deployment of all marketing activities.

Provide marketing support for Powerstar's Sales teams and network of approved partners.

Support, plan, organise and deliver company events and exhibitions.

Contribute to the writing of company press releases, feature articles, white papers and case studies as required.

Coordinate output from outsourced marketing providers.

Collate competitor analysis and market research, feed this back to internal stakeholders.

Carry out general marketing administration duties as required.

The successful Marketing Executive will ideally have the below skills and/or experience:

Candidates will have at least 2 years marketing experience, ideally within a similar marketing role and be able to demonstrate success in working both as part of a marketing team and independently.

Experience in using website content management systems (e.g. Wordpress) and electronic mailing systems (e.g. Educated to degree level in a marketing or business-related subject (with a grade of 2:1 or higher), and desirably achieved or working towards CIM qualification.
