Adept are working with a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering precision-engineered solutions to their clients. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they specialise in manufacturing high-quality components for various industries. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a time served Fabrication Inspector to join their team in Ripley.

Their Fabrication department specialise in producing bespoke fabrications for a diverse range of industries including defence, nuclear, sub-sea, aero, and process industries.

Shifts: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Pay: GBP15.00 - GBP17.00

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.

Previous experience in a quality inspection environment is essential.

Conduct thorough inspections of fabrications according to engineering drawings, ensuring adherence to specifications.

Experience working with various materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, Inconel, and aluminium.

Familiarity with working to tight tolerances down to 0.1mm.

Inspect brought-in materials prior to fabrication and finished goods to paint and coating standards.

Understanding of process traceability is advantageous.

Availability to work standard hours.

Willingness to work overtime as required.

Occasional on-site work at customer locations may be necessary.
