Senior Electronic Engineer - £50 - 65k – Reading – Hybrid My client is a global leader in their niche providing audio visual solutions for the film and broadcast industry. Due to sustained success, they’re expanding their engineering team, Main duties:

  • Design cutting-edge hardware with a skilled team using high-end FPGAs and CPUs.
  • Maintain and enhance hardware design capabilities, incorporating new tools for continuous improvement.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by implementing test automation and optimizing DFM/DFT, while addressing existing product issues and component availability challenges.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware development & a track record of the product life cycle
  • Digital circuit board design, some analogue design experience is useful
  • Schematic entry and PCB layout guidance
  • Experience contributing to new product design and development
Bonus:
  • OrCAD, PADS/Allegro design tools
  • Knowledge of high speed interfaces and SI modelling
