Key responsibilities include building relationships with stakeholders, growing and fostering a high-performance UX team, working with designers to ensure deliverables are consistent with design languages and systems, and communicating research results to leadership. 
The UX Design Lead elevates UX; not just to solve users’ problems, but also to use design to steer the product’s evolution into a powerful and extensible framework. You'll be at the forefront of our efforts and be directly responsible for decisions that form our JPMC employee’s experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a servant leadership mentality who’s goal will be to make our UX teams more effective and efficient in their roles and to help foster their professional growth. This should be an individual who listens empathetically, puts the team first, and genuinely roots for the success of their fellow team members. This role has a number of responsibilities and requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: 
Lead the UX design process for multiple projects.
Create wireframes, UI designs, and interactive prototypes.
Ability to distinguish between feature requests and design revisions from user goals and objectives.
Leverage and contribute to our design system.
Share your designs to solicit constructive feedback.
Provide constructive feedback and innovative ideas within your team.
Collaborate with UX Researchers for journey maps, personas, and usability testing.
Partner with product and development teams to launch solutions that balance business, user, and technical priorities.
Present your designs with expertise and rationale while advocating for end users.
Work on multiple projects with various levels of UX engagement, timelines, and expectations.
Identify opportunities for design and process improvements and drive their implementation.
Educate others on the benefits of UX.
Be aware of the bigger picture and impact higher levels of the company outside your immediate team.
Mentor other more junior designers
Utilizing team feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity and working with teams to continuously improve
Presenting ideas to stakeholders and advocating on behalf of the user
Proposing and championing improvements to our UX processes
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
~ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
~8 years of UX experience
~ Experience leading small- to-medium-sized teams
~ Significant experience designing and delivering world-class digital experiences
~ User-centric design approach that involves rapid testing and iteration of designs
~ Exceptional skills with standard UX software such as Sketch and Invision
~ Experience with generative and evaluative research methods
~ Understanding of how design translates to code
~ Ability to use prototyping tools to convey design intent
~ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
~ Ability to be a UX advocate and communicate with diverse stakeholders
