Salary: Band 1, £25,040 pa

Contract: Temporary to cover maternity leave

We are seeking to appoint an Assessment and Awards Officer to join a friendly, busy and supportive Assessment and Awards team at the British Psychological Society.

The team delivers assessment services for apprentices, qualification candidates, professional recognition route, CPD audits and psychological testing centre processes.

This role presents an opportunity to ensure that the delivery of the society's assessment and awards, and associated customer service is conducted to the highest standards, meeting external and internal quality assurance requirements.

Reporting to the Assessment and Awards Lead, and working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and committees, you will be required to support the delivery of assessment and awards activity for the society, including qualifications, the regulated work of the End-point assessment organisation (EPAO), Psychological Testing Centre (PTC) - verifications and test reviews and professional recognition routes.

For this role, you will require:

  • Experience of assessment, for example end-point assessments, accreditation and/or qualifications.
  • Experience of quality assurance and quality improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, experience of working with key stakeholders and building good relationships.
