The Creative Manager role

The Creative Manager will be responsible for delivering unique and engaging content from concept through to delivery, with a focus on paid media creative (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).

This role is uniquely positioned as the driving force of our growth in paid channels, leveraging on-trend content styles and themes to deliver cut-through in a crowded channel and fuel our business growth. You'll be supported by the Head of Growth and wider team, along with our extended network of advisors and agency partners.

What you will do

  • Own performance creative end-to-end – with support from the Head of Growth and wider team, you’ll have full license across our paid media creative process from ideating, scripting, production and post-production (still content and video, with a focus on video)
  • Shoot & edit great content – the most important part of the end-to-end ownership: you’ll use your eye for a great shot and transitions to pull together highly engaging performance ad creative
  • Lead on creative ideation – with support from the wider team, you’ll lead on brand new concepts based on what’s worked previously, what’s working for other brands and what’s trending
  • Be close to performance metrics – growing through paid social is all about learning what works (and doesn’t) and doing more of the former. You’ll be close to how content is performing in the media accounts and on the front-foot for creative iterations
  • Manage creator relationships – a big part of top-performing content lies with having the perfect creator. You’ll work to screen creator artists, provide script guidance and for on-location shoots art-direct their style
  • Manage content internally – you’ll manage our internal library to ensure we keep on top of our organisation and streamline the process for future iterations
  • Produce in-house brand content – whilst not the primary focus of this role, you’ll leverage your skills to support the brand team on organic-led content

What experience we’re looking for

  • 4+ years experience in video editing, preferably for an early stage brand. Adobe Premier Pro preferred along with familiarity with industry equipment.
  • Experience in camera work, both video and still shots. You understand the importance of lighting and angles to deliver a certain vibe in your content.
  • Ability to ideate and script unique concepts. You can take a rough idea (from yourself or team) and turn it into an engaging, targeted script
  • Familiarity with customer personas and pain points. You create with the target audience in mind and you leverage research and techniques to dive into how to speak to them through your content.
  • Experience across the adobe suite, Figma & Canva.
  • Understanding of key performance creative metrics and how to influence them. You know what makes a good hook and how to keep the audience engaged.
