We are partnering with a prestigious client in the nuclear sector to find an experienced SAP S/4HANA SME with expertise in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) . This individual will be responsible for overseeing the transition from the current CMMS system to SAP S/4HANA , shaping the project's scope, and acting as the key interface between the client and the SAP implementation team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Scoping : Define and shape the scope of transitioning the existing CMMS to SAP S/4HANA , ensuring alignment with business needs and operational goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the primary liaison between the client’s internal teams, SAP implementation partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Requirements Gathering : Work closely with business units to understand detailed functional and technical requirements for the CMMS transition and integration into SAP S/4HANA.
  • Process Mapping and Optimization : Analyse current maintenance processes and workflows, mapping them to SAP S/4HANA solutions while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Configuration Oversight : Provide guidance on the configuration of the SAP S/4HANA solution to ensure it meets the client’s operational, compliance, and maintenance management requirements.
  • Change Management : Support the change management process, ensuring smooth adoption of the new system within the client’s environment and minimizing disruption to operations.
  • Testing and Validation : Oversee system testing, data migration, and validation phases to ensure a seamless transition from the legacy CMMS system to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Training and Support : Collaborate with the SAP team to facilitate end-user training and provide ongoing support during and after implementation.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with the CMMS transition to SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the high-compliance nuclear environment.

Key Skills & Experience :

  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA with a focus on CMMS or Asset Management modules.
  • Proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to CMMS transitions into SAP S/4HANA in highly regulated environments, preferably within the nuclear, energy, or similarly complex industries.
  • Ability to define and shape project scope and interface between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships, ideally within a large, multi-disciplinary organisation.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance management processes and workflows.
  • Knowledge of data migration and integration strategies for CMMS to SAP S/4HANA transitions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into SAP deliverables.
  • Experience in the nuclear, energy, or other highly regulated sectors is highly desirable.

Qualifications :

  • Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., IT, Engineering, Business).
  • SAP certifications
  • Previous experience in the nuclear sector or similar regulated industries is a plus.
