We are on the lookout for Female Support Workers who are calm, patient, and resilient. You will need to have a consistent approach to assisting the people we support to engage in the interests they love. Furthermore, as Support Worker you will be responsible for:

Daily activities such as personal care; Getting to know the people you will care for and help them to live the life they want to live
Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the people you will care for
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people you will take care of
Helping the people you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims
Planning and be in favour of activities, such as vacations, learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities
5 hours per week and are willing to work on a shift rota basis, covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
*Who will you be supporting?
At Fiennes House we support 12 adults with a range of disabilities including learning and physical disabilities, sight loss, complex health conditions including epilepsy, cerebral palsy and autism.

People at Wellington location are a very active group who enjoy going out for fun activities such as day trips to the seaside or to music concerts, bowling, and discos. gardening for the lovely smells from the herbs and flowers, foot spa and pamper sessions, sensory sessions and stories.

As a support worker your contribution will be invaluable. Providing direct support when displaying behaviours to enable them to participate in a wide range of activities
To work positively with other agencies, parents, carers, and other services to ensure person-centred care for people we support
Develop and contribute to the maintenance of records and support plans and function as a Key worker when required
To support our people to maintain a clean-living environment appropriate to meet their individual needs
To participate in regular and ongoing training relevant to everyone's needs
