Position Overview:

As the Data and Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy as part of a wider and exciting digital transformation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in professional services and a proven track record of leveraging data and analytics to drive business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and to support our clients with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of a robust data strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Implementation: Oversee the implementation of data initiatives, including data governance, data architecture, data quality, and data integration.
  • Analytics Leadership: Provide strategic direction for analytics initiatives, ensuring the use of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to drive business insights.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand data needs, promote data literacy, and ensure data is effectively utilised across the business.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Reporting and Communication: Communicate complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute data strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the professional services industry and its specific data needs and challenges.
