Medical Copywriters at Avalere Health are responsible for creating compelling promotional copy and translating data into engaging storytelling using powerful ideas and concepts. They own the science and work closely with Conceptual Copywriters, Art Directors, Designers and User Experience specialists to create content and messaging that is highly engaging, affective and memorable.
A Medical Copywriter will be expected to write to a high standard, showing strong use of vocabulary, grammar, and sentence flow. They must be adept at interpreting medical data and extracting information relevant to the target audience and campaign objective while remaining compliant to industry standards of medical communications.
Producing scientifically robust and compelling copy for branded and unbranded campaigns
Working with scientific source material as well as researching data as needed
Producing content for a variety of target audiences (specialists and nurses to patients and the public)
Working with a designer or an art director to create sound communication ideas that are on brief, on brand, and on target.
Interacting and presenting to clients - face-to-face and on calls – instilling confidence in them by demonstrating knowledge of the brand, project and data
Input into tactical brainstorming and brand communication strategy, using strong scientific principles
