The below job description will outline this position of: HSE Officer

Typically, this person will be supporting the day to day of HSE Manager with any requirements on site.

HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the HSE Officer:

* COSHH update and maintain all records of chemical hazard risk assessments and safety data sheets.

* Work closely with all new employee’s and assist in HSE inductions.

* Create and rollout hand tools talks.

* Coordinator of facefit testing.

* COSHH task assessments support to supervisor and the workforce.

* Maintain a record of hand arm vibration support.

* Noise at work process implementation - support / assistance.

* Work closely with HSE Manager and assist with HSE internal audits.

* Input environmental permits / consents as required.

* Work closely with the workforce to rollout communications / initiatives.

* Accident investigation including root cause analysis and sharing of learnings.

Qualifications and requirement for the HSE Officer:

* This person with have worked within a similar position.

* NEBOSH General Certificate (this is a must)

* IOSH Membership (Preferred)

* COSHH Assessor

* Manual Handling

* Excellent communications skills at all levels.

* Experience of working within a high activity, manufacturing environment
