Senior Design Engineer – Vehicle Architecture in the automotive sector, with a focus on CAD to develop and create vehicle and vehicle sub-system designs based in Sherburn in Elmet in a permanent role.

What Will You Do ?

As a Senior Design Engineer – Vehicle Architecture working on Electric Vehicles (EV), you will be a key part of the puzzle, designing and enhancing new technologies, making use of you CAD experience. The components you design will span multiple projects integrating into a variety of futuristic and exciting vehicles.

Key Responsibilities as a Senior Design Engineer – Vehicle Architecture

  • Lead the team by reviewing designs and drawing, offering advice and regular reviews.
  • Use CAD to develop new designs that align with concept targets.
  • Mentor fellow engineers in the department.
  • Make use of you technical expertise of CAD / Catia in the automotive sector.

The Ideal Candidate Would…

  • Have technical competence and experience in vehicle architecture and systems.
  • Be educated to degree level or an equivalent Engineering Apprenticeship .
  • Havethe ability to develop and design product solutions in CAD / Catia .
  • Have strong communication skills.
