The Sourcing Category Lead – Packaging will be working with key regional and global suppliers to ensure the best sourcing deals for Recipharm, leveraging Recipharm’s global presence and buying power. We are looking for an individual contributor as he/she will not manage a team.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sourcing Category Lead - Packaging you develop the sourcing strategy for Packaging Materials Spend as well as supplier relationship strategy. With knowledge and expertise in the market, you will act as a support to senior leaders within the organization providing analysis of procurement strategic opportunities or risks that can affect the future course of the business and ensure that the strategy and its implementation is aligned with the overall business strategy and policies. Travelling on a frequent basis is included in the role.

Negotiations with suppliers outside of the organization is part of the role and you will make sure there are preferred supplier category agreements in place and are renewed in a timely manner.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

  • Demonstrated Category Management Experience
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated experience in Pharma or Food Industry
  • University degree and minimum 5 years of work experience in relevant field
  • Experience in Strategic Supplier Account/ Relationship Management
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills / knowledge of structured RFQs processes
  • High knowledge of Procurement processes

DESIRABLE

  • Good analytical skills
  • Structured and methodical approach
  • Credibility when communicating with Senior Leadership
