An opportunity has opened for a Production Manager to join an engineering company based near Gloucester. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as a Production Manager, who is also a hands on team player. Also, they are looking for someone that has experience of IATF 16949 or AS9100 implementation at a practical level.
They offer 25 days holiday plus bank holiday as well as some other excellent benefits.
An experienced Production Manager who is always happy to get stuck in on hands on tasks as well as management
* Experience with implementation of AS9100 or IATF 16949
* Excellent production and manufacturing skills and knowledge of continuous improvement
* A willing to help other departments where needed
* Man management experience - ideally will have managed 5+ people in the past
* Aerospace or Automotive industry experience would be ideal
Production Manager Duties:
* Working with the Production and Manufacturing department, ensuring all processes are efficient and effective
* Implementing and developing quality standards, health and safety and risk assessments for clients
* Producing production plans including keeping to weekly schedules
* Helping out the team when needed on the factory floor
