IT Technician
Join an exciting role with a rapidly growing Event IT company specialising in supplying IT solutions and connectivity to events throughout the UK.
As an IT Technician, you'll organise conferences, festivals, and exhibitions, as well as live streams and remote connectivity. You'll manage the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation. As a IT Technician, you'll be responsible for:
* Client Liaison and Event Planning: Understand client's event requirements and produce detailed proposals including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets.
* Coordinate suppliers and manage all logistics such as venue, travel, and hotels.
* Event Promotion: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the event.
* Manage all pre-event technical and resource planning.
* Facilities Management: Organise facilities for car parking, security, first aid, and media.
* Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations.
* We are looking for candidates with the following skills and personal qualities:
* Communication and Digital Literacy: Good written and verbal communication skills, confident in using Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, and web browsing.
* Passion for technology and possession of a driving license is essential for this role.
Competitive Salary: £26,500 to £30,500 per annum
