Customer Projects Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Customer Solutions Project Manager to oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring the timely delivery of specialist hazardous area systems. The successful candidate will manage multiple short-term and long-term projects simultaneously, requiring a proactive approach to meet deadlines and budgets without compromising attention to detail.
As a Customer Solutions Project Manager, you will receive personalised guidance and mentorship from our Engineering Manager and NPI Project Manager to support your professional growth.
Exposure: You'll have the opportunity to explore various aspects of project management, from administration to leading meetings, gaining exposure to the entire project lifecycle.
Hybrid Work.
Travel: Occasionally, you'll have the chance to travel to customer sites.
Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication of project timelines, costs, and requirements.
* Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will collaborate with Sales to identify prospective orders requiring project management.
* Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will review customer specification documents and address any challenges proactively.
* Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will identify additional documentation required (user manual, technical documentation etc.).
* Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will work closely with the Engineering team to identify suitable solutions to meet the requirements - involving mechanical design, electrical design, software and electronics hardware design.
* Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will liaise with different departments and teams across the business including certification, manufacturing, quality, finance, marketing, product management, supply chain management, and the service team to ensure the project is completed.
* Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will manage project change requests as well as risks and issues that arise during the project, escalating them in a timely and appropriate manner.
* Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will manage project budget and maintain financial and on-time delivery reports.
* Our Customer Solutions Project Manager will facilitate weekly project meetings and maintain project documentation inc. Previous experience in technical project management or project engineering.
* Experience with project financials like detailed BOM cost analysis, net and gross margins.
* Experience developing project plans and working with project life cycles from project quotation through to project termination.
Project Management certification (e.g., APMP, Prince2, AGILE).
