Backend Developer

This role is not just another job; it's a chance to make a tangible difference in the shopping experience of countless consumers. With a focus on reducing the frustration of inconsistent sizing, the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in developing a new stock system, automation platforms, and customer fitting software. This is a chance to leave a mark on a greenfield project that is set to captivate an international audience and stand toe-to-toe with Europe's fashion giants.

Experience needed:

  • 5+ years' experience working with Typescript & Node
  • AWS, Serverless and specifically Lambda Functions knowledge
  • CDK/SAM/Serverless
  • DynamoDB and/or MongoDB expertise
  • Experience with React and DevOps would be a plus
  • Shopify and exposure to E-commerce/retail environments

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in Typescript & Node, and a deep understanding of AWS, Serverless, and specifically Lambda Functions. Mastery in CDK/SAM/Serverless frameworks, coupled with expertise in DynamoDB and/or MongoDB, is essential. A familiarity with React and DevOps practices, as well as Shopify and the E-commerce/retail landscape, will be helpful

Joining an established team of Backend and Frontend Engineers, the role offers the chance to delve into Full Stack development (with a strong Backend focus), enhancing a middle-tier system that is crafted entirely in TypeScript/Node.js.
