Head of Treasury, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire £120- £140kpa, plus great benefits including a bonus potential of up to 40%, £7k car allowance.

Vitae are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a true global leader in their field, in recruiting a newly created Head of Treasury position. The Head of Treasury is responsible for managing the organization's treasury operations, including cash flow management, financing, risk management, and investment activities. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and oversight of treasury policies to ensure the company's financial stability and growth. The Head of Treasury will work closely with senior management to align treasury strategies with overall corporate objectives.

Cash Flow Management:
o Oversee daily cash management operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and reporting.
o Develop and implement cash management policies and procedures.
· o Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
Risk Management:
o Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risks.
o Implement and monitor hedging strategies to protect against financial market volatility.
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
· o Build the treasury team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Ideally fully qualified (ACMT) and very likely a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). This role will also require the need to manage complex projects to tight timescales.
