A growing multi academy trust in Cumbria have partnered with Kenton Black Finance as they seek to appoint a new Senior Finance Manager as a key member of the central finance team. This new post will develop and lead on the financial management and reporting arrangements, providing relevant accounting advice to support ongoing growth.

Competitive rate of pay depending on experience pay award pending

Your New Role as Senior Finance Manager:
Receiving support and guidance from the Head of Finance, as Senior Finance Manager your duties will include:
Preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
Preparation of management accounts
Assist with internal and external audits
Ensure necessary returns, reports and submissions are completed accurately and on time VAT, PAYE, NI, pensions etc.
Working closely with budget holders to provide meaningful financial information and advice
To be considered you will be proven in a similar level role with strong accounting and budget setting/monitoring capabilities. Strong communication skills are pivotal as this role involves regular liaison with various non-finance stakeholders. Strong IT skills are required including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as mainstream or bespoke finance systems.
