Platers (Contract)

We are currently seeking qualified Platers for ongoing industrial installation contract in Southampton. The ideal candidates will hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification and possess either a CCNSG or Ace card. A basic DBS check, as well as mandatory drug and alcohol screenings, are required for this position. The project, located in Fawley, Southampton, working an 11 day fortnight with 11-hour days. This role is suitable for experienced Platers with a strong background in industrial installations on petrochemical sites. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, qualified to NVQ Level 3, and possess the necessary safety certifications. Key Responsibilities: Fabrication of plate and pipework on site. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations. Participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings. Maintain a high standard of workmanship. Benefits: PAYE-only contract with holidays accruing on top of the hourly rate. Site bonuses and NAECI travel arrangements throughout employment. Covered travel and lodging benefits as per NAECI Handbook. Holiday pay accrual and potential incentive bonuses based on attendance and quality checks. Salary Basic rate: £19.11 per hourPAYE OT1: £26.75 per hour PAYE (overtime) OT2: £34.40 per hour PAYE (weekend overtime)
