Job Description Advance Management UK Ltd is currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join their team in their Salford office. This role presents a chance for the right candidate to contribute to the smooth operation of the company's payroll processes and procedures. As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the accurate and timely payment of employees. This includes checking the number of hours employees have worked, calculating wages and salaries, and issuing employees' wages. You will also collaborate with the human resources department to maintain employee data, calculate pay raises, shift payments, and overtime compensation, and issue tax forms and related documentation, assisting employees to complete them. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will be responsible for deducting tax and insurance payments, resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips, and other payroll matters, and changing employee bank records when necessary to process payments accurately. You will also initiate direct deposits. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong proficiency in payroll software such as Iris Earnie IQ, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of human resources processes and procedures related to payroll. Experience with data entry and attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate records. Additionally, an understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures will be beneficial. The Payroll Assistant may be required to perform additional tasks as needed, and should be a team worker who can work under pressure. The role is located at Advance Management UK Ltd.’s office at 217 Bolton Road, Salford, M6 7HP. The working hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday till Friday, with the possibility of staying a bit longer if necessary. The salary for this position depends on the candidate's experience.
