The A-SAFE Group operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the UK and maintains global distribution networks and facilities, allowing the business to provide innovative solutions to the worlds largest and best-known brands including Nestlé, Coca-Cola, BMW, 3M, Heathrow Airport, Unilever, Amazon, and Jaguar Land Rover.
Produce management accounts for multiple overseas subsidiaries.
Provide insight into performance issues.
Strong balance sheet control and support of A-SAFE's policies and procedures.
Manage and support the performance and development of Assistant Management Accountant.
Liaise regularly with overseas finance staff to ensure accounts are closed in line with the month end timetable and ensure that any P&L performance issues are fully understood.
Work with subsidiary management and finance staff to identify and improve performance issues.
Involvement in performance review meetings with subsidiary and HQ management.
Effectively reconcile and resolve any balance sheet issues to ensure accuracy and timeliness of P&L performance.
Ensure newly acquired subsidiaries are successfully integrated into A-Safes policies, procedures and systems.
Support any subsidiary tax issues.
Deal with complex and ad hoc reconciliation issues, such as separate accounting systems in Mexico.
Implement the groups policies and procedures in all subsidiaries.
Partner with other departments, such as Marketing or Product Development to provide useful insight into their performance and enhance their support for the business.
Assist with year-end audit and month end close.
Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
Use to working with management accounts.
Worked with SAP or NetSuite ERP systems.
Experience of consolidating group accounts.
