Our friendly small animal practice in Burgess Hill is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated vet with experience to join the team.

We are a happy, busy practice offering clients a very high standard of care whilst maintaining a compassionate approach to our work. We strive for excellent patient and client care.

The team consists of 9 vets, 9 qualified nurses supported by trainee nurses and nursing assistants and a great front of house team. Several members of the team are under-taking certificates and we are happy to support any area of interest which will increase the service offering to our patients and clients.

The practice is purpose built with all the usual 'mod-cons' including digital X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities and separate dog, cat and isolation wards, with approximately 30% of our clients being insured.

Clinically we need you to have good medical and surgical skills and a desire to continue to learn and develop. Most importantly we are looking for an individual who cares deeply for their patients, wants to do the best for their clients and who work well within a team (ours is pretty awesome).

Our primary aim is to find the right person, so there is some flexibility in the working hours. We would ideally like someone who can work 40 hours per week but can consider part time hours also. Our shift patterns tend to be 8-6 or 10-8 (only 1 late shift per week) with 1 weekend (Sat 9-6, Sun 10-4) a month. There is no sole charge work and no out of hours to cover.
