Hours: Full Time or potentially Part Time

This is an all-through academy for students aged 3 to 16. Co-educational with approximately 1,200 students. A strong motto to Dream, Believe and Achieve.

Role:

  • Must be a qualified Science teacher.
  • Experience of teaching KS3 and KS4.
  • Responsible for the supervision of Teaching Assistants working with the class.
  • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to plan and prepare lessons and programmes of study.
  • Interact with students, parents and faculty.
  • Facilitate classroom procedures.
  • Set culture standards for learning.
  • Monitor students’ progress in the subject.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in appropriate subject including Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Suitable for ECT’s and experienced teachers

Experience / Attributes:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Be self-motivated, detail-oriented and adaptable
  • Good understanding of supporting SEN students
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children and young people

Suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process. As part of the shortlisting process an online search will be carried out.
