Are you a seasoned professional in the field of commercial property valuation? Are you seeking a role where you can leverage your expertise to provide invaluable insights and guidance to major clients across the Retail and Leisure industry? Role: Valuations Surveyor- Retail and Leisure Location: Birmingham Role Overview: As a key member of this growing valuations team, you'll be entrusted with the responsibility of providing top-notch valuation services within the Retail and Leisure sectors. With a focus on going concern convenience, roadside retail, garden centres and other trading assets valued having regard to trading potential. You will be a key member of this valuation team of experts and be expected to network with banks, investors, accountants, and operators. What You'll Do:

  • Conduct thorough property and business inspections to determine value.
  • Drive business growth through proactive outreach and market awareness.
  • Responsively address client enquiries and deliver exceptional service.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with key contacts and cross-sell within our network.
  • Build enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Relevant qualification / RICS Chartered Status -Essential
  • A minimum of one to two years post-qualification experience -Ideally
  • Application of appropriate valuation techniques - Essential
  • Thorough approach to valuations - Essential
  • Report preparation - Essential
  • Understanding Accounts and Leases - Ideally
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills - Essential
  • Strong IT skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Essential
  • Knowledge of trade sector and current market trends - Ideally
