Candidates will ideally have experience of programming and operating Mazatrol machines

SALARY: £37,267 per annum + Overtime

BENEFITS: 23 days annual holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays, birthday leave, wellbeing day, excellent overtime rates, contributory pension scheme, life insurance, occupational health screening

LOCATION: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk (NR31)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 38 Hours per Week (early finish on Friday)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a CNC Machinist / Turner / Programme Setter Operatorwith relevant production experience in a machining environment, who is reliable, driven and has the working ethic to solve problems.

As the CNC Machinist / Turner / Programme Setter Operator you will join this growing organisation located in modern industrial premises with excellent working conditions and a positive professional environment.

The CNC Machinist / Turner / Programme Setter Operator will have the ability to produce quality machined parts, in line with the company’s high standards.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The CNC Machinist / Turner / Programme Setter Operator will:

  • Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Working to tight tolerances
  • Dynamic and capable of meeting challenging deadlines within a fast paced environment
  • Competent on all aspects of setting tools, including having an understanding of cutting speeds and feeds
  • Strong experience using measurement/inspection equipment including verniers, bore gauges, micrometres etc.
  • Carry out deburring of machined components during production cycles ensuring minimal disruption to production
  • Preferably have experience of Mazatrol machines
  • Have a positive and practical aptitude
  • Quick and methodical
