Overview: Working alongside our client, an established global injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Site Production Manager to join their team.
This position will suit an experienced Site Production Manager with good experience of driving 5S and continuous improvement across plant.
Successful candidates should have demonstrable management within an injection moulding environment, with automotive experience a distinct advantage however other industries will be considered.
As a Site Production Manager you will be responsible for the leadership, motivation and direction of all staff within the area of responsibility
Accountable for ensuring production meets customer specifications and delivery expectations, minimising wastage where possible and driving best practices.
Manage, coach and develop your production team to ensure successful programme delivery and culture.
Drive the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy and operation.
Comply with health and safety policy and procedures, local practices and control measures and report risks, accidents or near misses promptly to contribute to a safe workplace.
Demonstrable experience of managing within an injection moulding environment
Experience within automotive manufacturing
Good technical knowledge of injection moulding machinery, automation equipment and processes
Strong leadership and people management skills
