An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Information Governance Officer, to support the administration processes and workload within the busy Information Governance team.
You will be working with and directly supporting the Information Governance Manager, DPO and other Information Governance Team members.
Working within the Information Governance team, you will be one of the main points of contact for enquiries relating to Data Protection Impact Assessments, General Data Protection Regulations, data incident Investigations, Subject Access Requests and other enquiries from the public and members of staff. The post holder will also be involved in the evidence gathering for the annual submission of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit, which includes the delivery of the council’s IG Policy and Framework.
The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of Data Protection Legislation, and experience working within Information Governance or Administration will stand you in good stead for this role.
