Reporting To: Head of Projects
Looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join a recently formed Project function, to embed change discipline and execute on a number of key initiatives. Working closely with senior stakeholders across all functions of the firm.
Lead project delivery on a number of core technology change initiatives
Work closely with SMEs and 3rd parties to embed collaboration, structure and rigour within project delivery.
Lead and support 3rd party engagements with requirements definition, solution delivery and dependency management. Demonstrate pragmatic, hands-on project management abilities, applying rigor to the delivery process while being able to respond to a fast changing environment.
Use their Investment management, markets, regulatory and other experience to deliver high quality, compliant and enduring solutions.
Clearly articulate all areas of risk and be comfortable working with uncertainty.
Be an advocate for the Project function and the need for delivery structure and accountability
Create, execute/run and report on plans, risks and issues, dependencies, resourcing and all other standard project pillars.
Be creative in proposing both interim and strategic solutions to drive value delivery.
Use agile approaches and techniques to drive collaboration, engagement and pace whilst be comfortable reporting and managing to an overarching executive waterfall approach.
A proven track record of successful concurrent technology delivery within Wealth Management.
Strong financial and commercial analysis skills in an outsourced technology environment.
Strong understanding of InfoSec, GDPR and the correct treatment of client and other data types
Strong understanding of data governance, data models (in wealth management) & analytics
Kanban, scrum, SAfE, Prince2 experience
Expert with MS Teams, O365, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheets/MS Project, PowerBI
