We have an amazing new opportunity to become our new Governance and Assurance Analyst, reporting into the Governance and Assurance Manager within our Asset Programme Management Office (PMO). We see this role as essential to realising our National Leader ambitions and we're looking for a motivated governance and assurance professional, with direct experience of working in a fast-paced Programme Office (PMO) environment.
Reporting into the Governance and Assurance Manager, the individual will act as the Governance and Assurance Analyst within Northumbrian Water's PMO, ensuring all projects and programmes remain compliant with our established governance frameworks. This role will be responsible for supporting our capital projects through the project management life cycle, assuring gateway compliance to instil confidence in future delivery.
You should have experience in supporting either the management, delivery, or assurance of projects and programmes.
Understand project governance cycles, quality assurance, and change control.
Have experience of meeting governance and facilitation, either as secretariat, chair, or regular attendee and be able to facilitate the preparation of packs ahead of meetings in a timely manner and provide effective inputs, outputs relating to the meeting Terms of Reference such as actions, decisions and minutes.
Be able to provide timely and accurate data to meet reporting requirements as required as part of regular reporting or support any ad-hoc requests.
You will have a passion for all things PMO and continually look for efficiencies and opportunities for improvement. We're looking for you to have proven experience working in a PMO environment.
You will also have great people skills and have a 'can do' attitude with a keen eye to detail to carry out assurance of projects and programmes.
