Description

Ensuring effective delivery of JM Finn’s On-boarding obligations through monitoring of daily workflows within the team

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve new client cases including carrying out relevant AML/KYC/ Identity checks as required.
  • Perform additional case checks, provide Onboarding guidance and assist with preparation of Higher Risk and EDD cases requiring MLRO approval.
  • Ensure correct escalation routes are adhered to when dealing with higher risk or complex cases.
  • Provide guidance (within the scope of your personal regulatory knowledge and training) to the Investment Management Department and Operations Department in relation to regulatory requirements and the relevant internal procedures.
  • Ensure all regular control tasks are completed within required timeframes and assist with production of departmental MIS.
  • Assist with general queries and tasks received by the team.
  • Assist with ongoing reviews and monitoring of processes within the department and implementation of improvements where applicable, including procedural updates.
  • In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience within the relevant field and be able to demonstrate transferrable skills and behaviours.
  • GCSE Grade B English & Maths
  • Graduate level preferred
  • IOC or equivalent qualification
  • Communication – both written and oral
  • Problem Solving / ability to use one’s own initiative.
  • Monitoring and checking workflows across the department.
  • IT/relevant systems knowledge
