- This is a critical position where your expertise and ability to manage various licensing processes will directly impact our community. Manage and resolve a range of case work or investigations to conclusion using detailed knowledge of the subject area and work within relevant legislation, prescribed policy, procedures and guidelines.
Maintain an understanding of appropriate legislation, policy, procedure, business requirements and guidelines.
Planning and prioritising workloads in order to meet agreed short term objectives.
Understand and demonstrate commitment in delivering the key performance indicators within the function.
A minimum qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3 or A level, and three years relevant experience. Preferably an animal qualification level 3 for inspection of licensable activities involving animals.
Knowledge and experience in assessing complex situations and carrying out inspections.
Ability to travel, with a full UK Driving Licence
Willingness to work additional hours in line with service needs
