Health and Safety Manager Our Client requires a qualified Health and Safety Manager who will support the H&S culture on site, reporting directly to the Project Manager, for a large office / apartment / accommodation construction project in Chester. We need a someone in place to start at the end of April and so interviews will be held early-mid April. The successful candidate will require DBS for this project, so this will need to be submitted quite promptly by us. The project runs through until November and we are looking for someone who can commit to this from start to completion. The groundworks package is being completed separately, so the main requirements for the Site Team are ideally Modular experience, MEP, Office Fit-outs and quick programme, fast-track experience would be preferable and advantageous. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and the site team in ensuring a high-standard of safety culture and compliance are met, including suppliers, sub-contractors / partners, but also importantly liaising with the client’s safety team to ensure cross-site safety and coordination is achieved. NEBOSH, SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential as well as a proven track record on similar projects.
