This is a temporary role for 6 months on a rolling contract. The role requires security clearance to BPSS and a standard DBS The role We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project manager to cover a £2-3 Million package of refurbishments works for a MOD site. This will be based 5 days on site close to Loughborough. This is a high-profile site where ex-military personnel recover and recuperate from serious injury, some life-changing. The building estate is varied, including a large listed hall and various surrounding estate buildings. As a Project Manager, you play an important part in delivering projects in a safe and risk-free environment. This includes management of safety, CDM, issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. You will be responsible for:
- Meeting with senior management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
- Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements.
- Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and strengths of staff members and supply chain.
- Monitoring project performance from external contractors to ensure timely delivery.
- Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
- Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation.
- Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Trade/ degree or equivalent qualification in suitable construction/ management or Engineering discipline
- IOSH/ Nebosh and SMSTS
- CDM knowledge
