Production Controller

Energis isrecruiting for a Production Controller for our growing engineering client basedin South Down. This is a greatopportunity to join a successful local business who believe in investing in theirstaff.
Responsibilities:
· Track production metrics such as labour efficiencies,cycle time and other KPI’s as required.
· Analyse data to identify trends, issues, andopportunities for improvement.
· Prepare reports on production performance formanagement review.
· Scheduleproduction to both maximise efficiency and meet customer’s requirements.
· Confirmproduction completion date to sales, on a timely basis & within agreed timeframe.
· Raiseworks orders for finished product and run MRP process to generate works ordersand distribute all accordingly.
· Createnew BOM’s on ERP system, check and approve new BOMs for production.
· Continuously identify and implement processimprovements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Criteria:
· Previous relevant experience inproduction planning / scheduling within a manufacturing / engineeringenvironment
· Strong analytical skills with the abilityto interpret data
· Strong IT skills, ideally including theuse of ERP systems
· Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Salaryis in the region of £30-35k depending upon experience.
