An opportunity has arisen for an IT D365 Project Manager (Contract) to join the IT department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to manage the ongoing work in our Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations ERP application. We have a number of critical business requirements to deliver over the coming 12-18months some of which fall into BAU requirements and others that are part of the wider organisation transformation programme. These include (but are not limited to) Chart of Accounts and General Ledger changes, system globalisation (expansion to the US), multiple enterprise system integrations (MES, PLM, QMS etc)

The project is supported by a number of business subject matter experts (SMEs), external third-party implementation and delivery partner and the IT Team.

Job role:

  • Lead the Dynamics 365 F&O transformation including (but not limited to):
    • New site setups
    • System globalisation
    • GL/CoA changes
  • Work in conjunction with the IT Manufacturing Systems Programme Manager to implement manufacturing requirements in Dynamics 365 and the required integrations with other manufacturing systems (PLM, MES, QMS) to enable Banbury and Detroit facilities to meet manufacturing SOP milestones.
  • Review & prioritise the business requests backlog in conjunction with functional leads and external provider, co-ordinate business SME testing and manage through to implementation.
  • Work with functional leads, business stakeholders and other 3 rd party suppliers to scope, plan and implement continuous improvements, additional system features/functionality and integrations as required.
  • Work with the Head of IT, Applications Manager, Indirect Procurement and Legal team leads to size and implement future support requirements included 24/7 incident management for global operations.
  • Manage & lead D365 Steer-Co meetings. These must include project progress reports, executive summaries, RAID logs etc.
  • Strive to ensure the business adopts “best practice” processes where possible.

You’ll have:

  • Experience in a similar role implementing and growing D365 F&O – Essential
  • Experience managing and implementing Power Platform solutions – Desirable
  • Experience working in IT project management – Essential
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID and SQL – Desirable
  • Demonstratable experience engaging with stakeholders on all levels of a business, internal and external – Essential
  • Experience of warehouse and manufacturing systems and processes – Desirable
  • A team player used to learning new skills & taking on new challenges – Essential
  • Experience operating within ITIL aligned IT teams – Desirable
  • A friendly and approachable disposition – Essential
