Due to continued investment, this global business is currently looking for a Design Manager - Mechanical Handling to join their existing team in Plymouth (hybrid working, onsite once a month) on a 52 week contract.
The Role
As a Design Manager - Mechanical Handling , you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of mechanical handling systems. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, you will be required to provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design team in creating innovative solutions for mechanical handling systems
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project requirements
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in designing mechanical handling systems
