We are currently working with an NHS organisation based in the East of England, who are looking for a new Interim Chief People Officer.

This role is expected to start ASAP and will run for approximately 6 months, providing cover while the organisation recruits a substantive postholder. The Interim Chief People Officer job will ideally be performed on a full-time basis. The position is ideally full-time and falls inside IR35 , with VSM banding (preferably via a Fixed-Term Contract). The successful candidate will need to commit to regular on-site presence each week.

  • Creating an empowering, inclusive, and innovative environment

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven HR leadership background at or near Board level within a healthcare organisation .
  • Significant experience in organisational development and driving transformational change .
  • Strong influencing skills to work effectively across organisational boundaries.
  • A track record as an inspirational, values-driven leader .
  • Experience in mental health settings (desirable but not essential).
